Grief Ministry

The Grief Support Group, with the support of the Church School, is offering a 14-week series of grief support sessions for church members and the community at large. The program will provide a blend of practical guidance and biblical instruction centered on Christ, to help you heal from the loss of a family member or friend. The weekly sessions begin Sunday, October 27 from 9:30-11am, and will be held in the Library Room downstairs.

There is room for only ten participants.  You can join (if space is available) or leave the group at any time.  A $20 materials fee will be collected at your first session. Scholarships are available for those who need them.

You may pick up a brochure and sign up at the concierge's desk in the Narthex. One of the facilitators will be there to answer questions after each service. Due to the sensitive nature of grief work, we ask that you speak with a facilitator before attending your first session. You may contact Brother Don Foster at 206-485-8330 for additional information.

Facilitators: Sister Rita Howard, Brother Don Foster, and Sister Betty Thomas
