Richard Allen Brotherhood The Richard Allen Brotherhood (RAB) is composed of three (3) or more persons, formed for the purpose of encouraging brothers of all ages to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. To develop and enhance the body of the RAB membership, the brothers participate in prayer, evangelism, Christian Stewardship, Christian spiritual service, Christian social service, and encourage the brothers of First A.M.E. Church to learn the history, aims and beliefs of the A.M.E. Church.

 

The RAB meet every 3rd Saturday at 8:00am.

The "MAN-UP": Future Leaders Award

What is the Richard Allen Brotherhood Scholarship?

  1. This scholarship is for male juniors and/or seniors scheduled to attend college, trade, or vocational school.

  2. This award will be no less than $500.00.

  3. At least two scholarships per year will be awarded.

Application Requirements:

  1. Male High School Student.

  2. Junior or Senior with a GPA of 2.5 or better.

  3. U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.

Please submit the following:

  1. Answers to the attached questions.

  2. Official High School transcript or GED certificate.

  3. Copy of acceptance letter of college/trade school/vocational school you are planning to attend.

  4. Brief Biography up to two (2) pages, double spaced.

  5. Two (2) letters of recommendation.  One must be from your teacher, counselor, principal or other school official.

  6. Honors and/or any special recognition you have received.

Application must be postmarked or received in the church office no later than 5:00 pm, April 30th, 2020.
